With this VTCT worldwide recognised qualification you can work in a spa or salon or use this as an opportunity to start your own Holistic Therapy Business.

Your course leader, Amelia Young trained in Holistic Massage over 20 years ago and has grown a business providing beautiful massage treatments. Her passion is in massage and the benefits it can bring to our wellbeing.

On completion of the course you can then take up additional courses here at Silk Healing that can extend your treatment list.

Payment for your course can be spread over 3 instalments. Or through Clearpay. A deposit of 20% is paid at the time of booking to secure your place on the course, and the remaining 80% must be paid before your course start date. Aternativley you can pay in one instalment at the time of booking.

Home Study

Students enrolled on this course are independent learners (i.e. self motivated and responsible for their own learning). It is essential that you are able to dedicate a minimum of 8 additional hours per week to independent home study. This time should be used for study of theory content, coursework, exam revision and practice of practical skills.

The main aim of the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Massage is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide massage treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the massage industry. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over and is designed to provide occupational competence at level 3. It also provides a sound platform into further training at level 3 and 4.

• Consultation techniques – to include understanding the needs of clients and when and when not to treat them, identifying general body types and skin types, different types of fat and common postural faults, contra-indications, explaining possible contra-actions and providing aftercare and home care.

• Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology.

• Health, safety and hygiene – contextualised to the massage environment.

• Body massage techniques – to include selecting a suitable massage medium for the client’s skin type, classical massage movements and adapting the treatment to the client’s specific needs.
